Is REKAT out of business?

Is REKAT out of business?
If not does anyone have contact info.
I need to get a repair on an old version of the lock.
Can anyone else do repairs on their knifes?
 
Their forum here closed in November of 2001 and the company went out of the knife business about that time as well. Benchmade now makes some knives with the rolling lock, but has no other connection with REKAT. No one as far as I've heard does repairs on the old REKAT knives.

As far as I know, Benchmade bought the rights to the rolling lock mechanism when Rekat went out of the knife business.
 
There was a member here a few years ago (I can't remember his name) who used to fine-tune the locks on SIFU's. In one post he described his method in detail and I copied it and saved it - somewhere. If I can find it, and his name, I'll send it to you. He might be able to help you.
