Is "search" function broken?

It keeps saying cannot display this page.

That's because this page was only created after you made your post. :p

Seriously though, I would imagine to get help you would have to include what you searched for so that others can try to replicate your error. Did you use an overloaded word such as knife, spyderco etc. These words will return too many results, often resulting in a time-out / page not found error.

It's only semi-broken on purpose in a Nordic Viking way of thinking. :D

Search this thread for beer or taco and it gives the Sorry Not Found message because it ain't frickin' here. Search this thread for Spyderco and it immediately gives you the Page Not Found message because this thread must be overflowing with subliminal Spyderco references that only the "great and powerfull Server (Pay no attention to that Spyderco behind the curtain.)" can see. ;)

Seriously though, I don't know what's with the search function either. I can go to the Spyderco Forums and search for Spyderco and 6.25 seconds later, it returns the first 500 references to Spyderco. Must be differences in the software defaults to save server time and bandwidth or something.

Would be nice to be able to search single Forums or threads for even oft used words though....

OBTW: The Search This Thread function also wields the same Page Not Found error message when using advanced search... :(
