Is ShopAtHome totally bad?

I'm a fairly inexperienced knifer. I guess it's common knowledge by now that any knife with "Frost Cutlery" on the blade is garbage, but what about some of the other offerings on "that show" like slip-joints and the like. Are they all junk, or are there deals to be had if you know what to look for? Or, do real knife-knuts watch that show for the same reason that old bikers watch those assholes on "American Chopper": for a couple of laughs?

You want deals? We've got good deals. We have frequent threads on "what knife should I buy?" We have trade & sales forums where you can pick up used knives for bargain prices. We have discussions about the best sources for new knives.

Buying from shills is a waste of money.

Answer B is correct. IF a knife-knut watches one of those shows, it is for laughs.

I bought something from TV there one time. They then proceeded to sign me up for magazine subscriptions I never wanted or asked for. I always reccomend you watch your credit cards when doing business with sleazes like them. Check over every bill and every transaction. Joe
