Is spoonrivercutlery.com all gone?

I haven't checked out the site in quite a while (budget vs. temptation).

Walter IIRC the owner was great to deal with and he had sweet prices.

I searched the archives and didn't find any mention of the site going away. Does anybody know what happened?

Walter closed down a few months ago.

Yeah he closed down, it sucks. I used to buy all my knives from him, awesome prices, and such a cool guy to deal with.

I agree. Walter was a good guy to work with. I hope he's doing well in his retirement.

I actually saved money when Walter closed down Spoon River! He's too young to retire...going back into the tech world. Good man and I wish him and his family well.
