My shop has pretty much looked like this for a little better than a week but with the break in the weather I thought I'd get things 99.9% done today. Still got some painting to do and some caulking but I can wait on that till the weather is more dependable. Got power and lights now but still need to run in the 220. I may even work on a knife today if I can find my anvils.

Ray. Whats that below you there, a goat or a young calf. How long you going to milk out that shop building, looks like you still have to pour a driveway and sidewalk. Looks like a beautiful place though. Now hurry up. :D How many acres you have there and do you have anything I can bow and black powder hunt. ;)

I thought it was a plastic lawn chair :footinmou

Looks good! Have fun building :D

Bill, This shop does seem to be taking forever. If I had some help when I needed it would have made a difference. Believe your just seeing a lawn chair. My cows are out of the picture at this time. As far as hunting goes I have never seen any deer or critters like that. It does look like I'm really out in the boonies but in reallity its not. Less than 5 minutes I can be in downtown Gresham. I have 5 acres of my own but I run my cows in all the woods in the back ground and some you can't even see.

MAN, no wonder I'm having trouble finding deer, I would have swore that was a calf or a goat, but now that you told me, sure enough thats a chair. :o
O well.
You should have told me you wanted some help, I would have run right over. No I remember now, concrete work, never mind. :D

Looking good Ray, you better feed that chair it's looking kind of poorly. :D

Bill

Lookin real good Ray....and Bill beat me to the question but you answered it. HMMMMMMM...No Deer :(

Bill, How many chairs do you have in the freezer?

As far as the shop goes its pretty much done but the big job will be getting things set up. I did build stairs down to the old shop so that will make it easier. After I cut the opening for the stairs first thing that went threw my mind was all the years I worked in the old shop. Its an unbelieable mess and thats how its been pretty much from the start. Now I'll have over twice the area to mess up...... :D

I stopped eating hot lawn chair years ago; too gamey. I prefer it dehydrated as a nice jerky. My uncle makes a cayenne blend that really brings out the polymer flavor nicely and spices it up.

THANKS FOR CLEARING THINGS UP FOR BILL........ I have heard that with IG's HT Relish even a chair will taste like chicken.......

WOW, looks like this forum is full of smart asses. :D :D OK I deserve it I agree, but look at that goat that peter posted, now at a glance that chair looks a heck of a lot like that goat. Imagine the chair (goat) below Ray's shop, head down and walking away. See I told you it looked like a goat. hehhehehehe
Chairs in the freezer? I think there's 3, a deer skin covered lazyboy, wild turkey bar stool and a ringtailed bean bag, but I'll have to look to be sure.

slinking away Bill

Looookin Goood Bro!!!! You are lucky that John Andrews doesn't live near you. He may of mistaken you for a squirrel on the roof.  And we know how that OLE INJUN loves to eat and shot those treerats. :D :D

It would melt the plastic before you could eat it. HEHEHE!!!

Bill, You were actually right about the goat. There's an old goat up on the roof....... Next to the chimney..... :D

IG, I heard that, you rascal! He doesn't even have a tail! Hey, the shop is coming along just fine, fella. Just as long as the ladder doesn't fall and strand you up there. Don't open a jar of IG's relish in your shop, or you will be working on top of a pile of ashes that used to be your new shop. The HT relish is so hot that it is highly combustable. Store IG's relish in your frig and enjoy it!

John, I think I would be safe opening IG's relish in the shop. I think the shop is colder than the fridge at this time. Got pretty nippy durring the night......
