Is the 806D2 AFCK (plain edge) discontinued?

Is the Benchmade 806D2 AFCK Plain edge discontinued? All I can seem to find on-line is these combo edges. The BM site says, "Temporarily Unavailable. Please use Dealer Locator." So, all the dealers I have called don't have any left. I wonder what "temporarily" means.

Any one know how many of these were made?
 
No, NGK, does not. It IS listed on their site, but I called to be sure. They were the first place I tried. The guy on the phone was very nice to me. He said, "Hold on, Let me go and check the shelf."

I waited less than a minute and he came back on the line and said,"No, That space on the shelf is empty. We have plenty of the serrated version, though."

I thanked him for his time, and proceeded to call and email more sites.

NGK site even lets you add it to the cart, but I called to be sure I wouldn't get charged and then have to go thru a refund situation. Thanks for the concern, here, but that's a no go. CLICK HERE
 
The local dealer here was told by Benchmade that it is still available, they are just way behind on other knives and it will be available sometime later this year.
 
I take it you likes that video you poasted on the spyderco website.

Try KNifecenter, Grandprarieknives, a.g russel,knifeworks,eknifworks

just some other dealers.
