Hi All,
I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if the model 869 "Bones" is chisel ground on the edge or is it sharpened on both sides. I like the looks and the size of the small one, with the tiger stripe. Nice!

Do any representatives from Buck read/moderate this forum? Maybe I will try to email from the Buck website.

I don't own one and don't know of anyone who does to ask about them. You can't tell from the catalog picture or description.

Yes, there are two mods, both from Buck. CJ isn't around much here and Joe is currently off on a leave of absence. There are other Buck employees that do frequent the board, so perhaps one of them will answer your question.

I worked with a gentleman a year ago that carried one. His had the standard blade edge. No chisel grind. I wouldnt think they would change to that now. As far as I know Buck only uses chisel grinds on buckcote/ionfusion, and the Bravo. I may have missed a couple, but the Bones model aint one ;)
