My ad15 lite blade kinda rubs on the aluminum scorpion lock to one side so i tried to adjust the back screw to see if that helps. When I went to tighten it down, it started free spinning. Is this normal or should it be a captured d-shaped pivot? Thank you for any imput

I only adjusted my ad15 lite lockbar screw very slightly to loosen it, no spinning or blade rubbing at all, and the screw was tight. This was when it was new.after some use, that lock bar will have some side to side movement when blade is in closed position.I was told that is normal and it doesn't seem to affect anything negatively.

both front and back screws are captured by a D shape in the scales themselves. so I would try to disassemble and glue the female to the scale.

That’s what i was thinking, wonder why mine isnt captured, ill have to investigate that. Im assuming CS customer service will be of no help to me

the "flat" in the scale is small and made of plastic, so it doesn't take much torque to round it off. you could cut the scale away enough to grab the female side with some needle nose, put a couple of washers under the female, then glue the scale to the liner.
