im very excited about my D'allara which had a ball bearing lock. ive heard some different opinions from various people but i wanted to hear what the pros thought!

I like the ball lock, It locks up solid and is fairly easy to release. The only downside is that the design of the lock in relation to the pivot point of the blade makes the D'Allara a wide knife when folded.

ok. thanks for your input

not a pro but imho the ball brg lock is ok, i like frame/compression/even some liner locks better though.

I have liked the ones I had/have (I had a D'Allara I gifted away and still have a Dodo). The D'Allara seemed a pretty good design and its current owner still uses it after a year-plus.

I feel the Ball-Bearing lock has potential, it will simply need to find the right packaging.

But, its just my opinion. I still think the Bolt-Action lock is a good design and it has never really gone anywhere.
