Hi guys, Thanks for your much valued advice.

I just got my limited edition Bark river Wet Enviro Recon. Great knife. I noticed that it has a hidden tang. Is it a full tang?

I have also noticed that (although sharp) it is not as sharp as the other barkies I got in A2. Is it because of the 12C27 steel?

What is this steel like? How would this knife hold for bushcraft?

If I'm correct, it's very close in size and shape to the Nebula. The Nebula is a great bushcraft knife. And it has a hidden, full tang, if I'm right.

Don't worry, all BRKT's are great knives.

I've had some barkies in A2 come in rather dull, so I don't think it's a steel issue. The sharpest bark I ever got was scary sharp out of the box, that was a Wolf River in 12C27.

Thanks guys.

These are my first barkies. I can see what people were talking about now. :)

What nice knives.

You can get either steel just as sharp. The A2 will hold its edge longer. The Recon unit wanted a SS blade. The Bravo 1 is A2. That was the basic history of this one.
