Is the becker bk9 sheath Molle compatable?

The new knives with the laser engraving come with a molle compatible sheath. The old stamped blades did not have molle straps.
 
I've got a nice Duluth canvas pack I considered trying to add a molle setup to attach my newer hardware. Any ideas, looking for something clean. Not sure a glue gun or something funny like that would work so hot.

How is your sewing ability? That might be the best bet. With that, get some 1" leather strips, then just stitch them on. This would probably be a LOT easier with a sewing machine.

Sounds good. Maybe some nylon straps to. I've got a machine. A speedy stitch that might work well for leather. Just don't want to experiment on my nice pack. Might make a frankenbag :-)
 
Maybe start with a piece of fabric and some nylon straps to make sure you like it. Then do it on the bag.
