I wouldn't think so, the combo versions are probably just less popular.

so many new models introduced therefore more knives are discontinued. You really need a score card to keep track these days.

I just love the thought of combo edges being discontinued. They should do that more often, free up the equipment for more plain edges.

I'm not a fan of combo edges but those edges are usefull at times.
