Is the Busse crew coming to Sydney?

The International Cutlers Expo is being held in Sydney on the 23rd and 24th of August.

I just wanted to make sure you guys had booked your flights and accommodation. Word on the grapevine is that you may indeed be coming. If this is the case I'll certainly be there (I have a leave embargo during that time as we prepare for G20 but I'm sure I can get out of that for Busse!). Maybe it could be like a mini Blade in Australia.

Not enough Australian's are aware of or appreciate Busse. As a Hog recently suggested to me, it would be great to see Busse put on some demo's, like they used to, so the general public can see just how great these knives are and why they cost a little bit more. Rope cutting, strength tests etc. Some of the amazing demo's that made Busse who they are in the US. What do you think Jerry?

I am sure I would be full of good advice for making the most of the visit as well...!!! This would make my year... :D :D

Talk to me Busse crew… I'm not interested in Canada, East, West, Vegas, Cali or Condors but I'm keen to know if you'll be coming to Australia this year.

If they make a connecting flight in Seattle, I could meet them at SeaTac airport for a mini show. That would be cool.
 
I think that if they are coming it should be kept a secret what connecting flights will be taken cos the cargo travelling with the crew could become 'accidentally' misplaced at the airport...
 
That will be an interesting travel intinerary for Jerry, since he doesn't fly. Are there any cruise ships that run from the West Coast out to Oz? Because going the other way would be a really long trip.
 
The Left coast used to have a Western Blade show, but they let it die. Thank goodness the folks East of there appreciate a good thing when they see it, hence the Blade show in Atlanta.:D
 
You guys want us to go all over the place...when will Beef and Garth have time to make those knives you love so much if they're travelling all over the world? :confused:

Love this idea Chris. I'd love to get Garth and Lexi, Lora, Beef, pokey, Bossman, Dan and the rest down here. I would fly to Sydney in a heartbeat! And you are right about promoting the brand down under...... Massive untapped resource!
