I have looked at the HI store but can not find it.

I love the Chainpure's carved bottom of the handle and was considering getting one in the future.

The vast majority of the items that HI has offered are not on their web site. The site carries more of their common offers. If you would like a chainpuri you can email Yangdu and ask to see if she has one in stock or she can have one made for you.

Email Yangdu at himimp@aol.com and ask her if she has or can get you one. That's the best way to know. You wont find a more helpful or pleasant person to deal with anywhere on the internet.

I have Chainpuri in stock for sale, thank you

Very pointy looking. I'm guessing that's the main difference between a Sirupati and Chainpuri, other than the cho and pommel?

And IIRC, the Chainpuri is usually the lightest, followed very closely by the Chitlangi, then the Sirupati. Right?

Definitely a nice one you got there, in any case.

My 15inch Vim Kami Chainpuri is fast and light and feels much better in my smallish hand than a similar length Chitlangi.

I am interested to get a 18 or 20 inch Chainpuri like Big W's to see how it compares in feel to a similar sized Kobra, which I think it would come closes in weight.

Ascetically I prefer the Chainpuri to the Sirupati but would need to actually have a Kobra in the same size to determine which I preferred in that match up.

Oh, then there comes the issue of which chops the better, but that is another topic which someone else can answer. ;)
