Are the classics worth more than the 21 sebs?

Or is the resale valued the same?

Resale seems pretty close. There's a lot of overlap between the two anyway. Checking past threads in the sale forum should give you some idea.

The prices are essentially the same for both knives with condition of the knife being the only real variable. As a registered user you want to be careful asking about values of knives as it is now against the rules, as is selling with out the correct membership.

I never noticed a difference, but haven't tried to study it, either. I suppose that pre-Idaho Made Sebenzas might go for a (small) premium? I actually am skeptical about that, though I suppose pre-IM knives might sell faster even if not higher? Just speculation on my part, however...

They might go for a little more since they don't make the " classic " engraved sebenza anymore. Just like the large regulars go for a premium now. Like anything, the market fluctuates. I prefer the classic over the 21, simply because I like the words " classic " engraved on the backside. But thats just me.....:) Idaho Made engraving does not bother me at all either. Glad they are Made In USA.
