I have bee eyeballing the Bushlore the the micarta handles for a while now and am highly considering ordering one. From what people are saying, it seems like a great buy. Problem is, I am afraid of receiving one of the older models. :(

Is it worth the risk of ordering one and receiving the older version or worth getting one at all?

-Best wishes

If you're ordering from a reputable dealer, you should have no trouble specifying that you wish to buy the new version.

worth getting one at all?
$27 for the wood handled version? Absolutely.

The question I'd ask, "Is it worth paying 100% more for the micarta handles?" I don't know...

Now am I allowed to say where I am considering buying from, or is that not allowed on the forum? Better safe than sorry.

If you're asking for a dealer recommendation or to find out if your intended dealer is alright, there's a separate forum section for that, "The Good The Bad and The Ugly."

Mine was ordered from Knifeworks, but they don't have the micarta version listed.

Thanks brother, I get free shipping from amazon but the picture they have looks like the old model. thats why I was concerned. I'll look around a bit more and quit being stingy about shipping

And received. :)

Seriously--out of all the Condors I received in my order it's the single one I most want to just snag for myself. My lady would kill me though. :D
