Is the dessert Dagger still a Sog offering?

The Desert Dagger isn't on the current list of SOG Fixed Blades, so I'm betting it's been discontinued. It sure is a lovely knife. Get one while you can. And don't forget to get one of the new Daggerts while you're at it. ;)

P.S. I'm one of the few guys I know that actually uses his Desert Dagger... Works good for opening those pesky plastic wrappers on food in camp. :D

The daggert is closest in the current line up.

But the dessert dagger is another story altogether...:eek: ;) :cool:
 
Personally I looked at the new Daggert's and didnt like what they had done. The Desert Dagger has sharper cleaner lines. I love the straight guard on the Desert Dagger. Its Reminiscent of the Fairburn - Sykes fighting knife used by the British Commandos and also the OSS. Personal preference I suppose.

Also you have to remember that with the desert Dagger getting harder to find and the fact that it was used in the Kill Bill Film: http://satansbarber.co.uk/photosets/blades/sogdd/sogdd.htm

One day it may be worth a few quid (bucks). :p
