Is the Emerson opener going to be made illegal??

So I'm not too sure about how things are in the States, but here in Canada switchblades are illegal. Which brings me to my next point, the Emerson opener, on let's say a Matriarch 2, deploys quicker than any switchblade or butterfly knife. So my question is this: Does the Canadian government plan on making Emerson openers "illegal" also? Hope not, it's the best thing for quick and easy that's for sure

We don't discuss laws on this subforum for obvious reasons. Remember Snowden, they ARE watching. Plus, an Emerson wave opening knife and a butterfly knife are not automatic knives, which is the subject of this subforum.
 
What's the obvious reason? You fear the Government or something? I'm a law abiding citizen who embraces the law ;) Good day ladies ;)
