Is the Fallkniven FH9 "too thick?"

I've read some reviews saying that the blade is really too thick for a lot of uses.
Anyone have one who could compare it to a U-2 or TK series?

At 3mm it is only slightly thicker than the U2 and TK3 which are both 2.5mm thick.

It is not an overly thick blade by any means, I can't think of what it would be too thick to do.
