Is the Golden Factory Okay?

I heard there were huge wildfires in Golden, CO. Does anyone know if the factory is okay?

Yeah, my uncle lives right around there. Good thing he is okay, but best of luck for the people who's houses were destroyed.

We're all good here. The fire comes up to the ridge just to our West. We can see a lot of smoke and occasionally flames, but the crew working this fire is incredible. One of the helicopters has been landing to refuel across the field to our West. It was very surreal two days ago, we were blanketed in thick smoke. Most of us went home at the end of that day with stinging eyes and sore throats. Our entire building smelled like a campfire.

We believe we're safe here, but it's certainly something we're keeping an eye on. There are some good images here, http://denver.cbslocal.com/gallery/2011/03/21/indian-gulch-fire/#photo-1. Image 7 shows how close it is, our building is out of frame to the right.

Thanks for your concern and good thoughts. Thankfully no homes or structures have been damaged so far.
