Is The Kephart Traditional?

For what it's worth it gets my blessing. Very nice rendition of a classic design.

Here is an old tidbit of info on the knife's designer, which I dug up on the web:

That's a beauty! Horace himself would be proud. Traditional? Dang right!
That's one that is on my list. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I had come across that same ad, kind of inspired me. Thanks for all the nice comments!

To me, that very traditional. The nice and simple bladeshape and no fancy anythings just make it an awesome user, for sure.

I need to get one of those...

Would that make the Ontario Blackbird SK-5 an updated traditional, since it appears to be based on the Kephart?

Great looking rendition. A design I always liked for its simplicity and obvious usefulness that has stood the test of time. Into eternity Horace

For mysterious reasons, I can't see the picture (or pictures) but...
I really like the Kephart pattern and I consider it very traditional and very useful...and I've seen enough of your knives to say that I like it as well as my fellow members
Actually, a few days ago I was talking to another BF member and told him that a nice Kephart might be my next purchase (and possibly the only one for 2015). :)
