Is the Kershaw Skyline stone-washed or bead blasted?

I recently purchased the kershaw skyline and the package says its stone-washed but it looks bead blasted and everyone in this forum says its bead blasted. I went to kershaws website and it says its stone-washed on there too. What gives? Which is it?

Every skyline I have seen has had a bead blasted blade

Mine is bead blasted. I've never seen a stone-washed one, even in photos.

Yep it's been like that since they came out. Web site and packaging needs to be changed.

It is false advertising, or worse if stone washing costs more than bead blasting. It was probably just an over site. But should be changed to reflect was is actually being produced.

I hope the new Random Task and TG1 don't end up the same way. They both say "stonewashed finish".
