I found a used one that's going for retail price. I'm happy to pay that much if they're not going to become available again.
I can't find it in Stock at any of my usual haunts. I found it on one Web site that only lists it as out of stock.

Grooves are discontinued. I suggest if you want it to go ahead and get it. Prices have been steadily climbing over the past few months and they are getting harder to find.

Thanks for the quick response.

I feel better being able to ask for opinions of like minded people.
I passed on a Cold Steel Tsunami in a pawn shop. They were asking $40 over retail. It was new with no sheath. They thought it was worth more because it was a discontinued AUS6 model manufactured in Japan as opposed to the current AUS8 model manufactured in Taiwan. I spent days researching and gave up.
So I appreciate this venue.

Yes, SOG.
Ah, Ok! I was looking for the Tsunami to see the knife and I kept getting SOG. Thought I was going nuts for a minute, lol. You didn't miss much, apparently that knife has not gotten what would be considered great reviews. Dodged a bullet on that one I'd say. Make sure to pick up a Groove if ya can, it's a great knife.

I had one when they went discontinued and had it new in the box paid 50 bucks for it then like a year later I have it as a gift to a friend checked the price and they were going for around 80 bucks, I haven't seen one in a while
