Is the LArge Cali Toothless Barf the perfect big knife?

well, Imo....It might be

ITs double cut....thats a plus

Its basically the same size and same thickness with a sharper point for poking and stabbing.

Its still should chop well

THe handle is a litttle longer and tapers away gradually with "SF" style butt which would alleviate any and all pinky pinch.

Its way rarer!

THe Barfs are really in a league of their own:thumbup:

Regardless, of whether they have the ring or not.

THe nice thing about it even with the ring... there is enough handle to choke back for more leverage out of the ring, and still get your whole hand on it for making powerful chops....something that can be a little painful with a full knuckle guard.

whether you have it or not....with all your years of knife usage....what is your opinion based on the photo comparison?

I dont know many others hear with as many years experience as you with actually using knives.

Well its not going to chop quite like the SHBM, but will be way quicker in hand. Looks like the perfect all around large knife!
Seems like that blade has the best of both worlds to me:thumbup:
And like you said, with no pinky bite.

I like the shape of that knife better then the various BMs. Not sure if 'sleeker' is the proper description but it seems to work.
