I'm flying cross-country (USA) in a month or so, and I prefer to carry-on my luggage. I travel light. Anyway, I suppose any blade is a no-no, but is the PS travel safe? It has small shears, but no blade.

I have heard several reports that it is TSA compliant, but have not tried it myself. The TSA site says that scissors under 4" are okay. Consider also that in a practical sense, its really up to the TSA person. But you should be groovy.

Edit: one BF member here says its goes through the screening with no prob.

I have a Micra that I cut the blade off of and use that for air travel all the time. My approach is to open all the tools, put it in it's own small tray and alert the TSA agent that I am sending my *scissors* through and that they have no knife blade.

Yes. I have flown several time with my Style PS. Never an issue, one TSA agent saw it a gave me a thumbs up.
Most TSA agents didn't even look at it.
