Is the logo affected by stripping the blade?

Stripping the blade removes the coating.
On the older blades with roll stamped logos, it doesn't affect the logo.
On the newer blades with laser etched logos, it effectively removes the logo, leaving a faint ghost image.
To retain the laser etched logo, it is easy to etch the logo deeper BEFORE stripping. But after stripping, it' a PITA.

Use some PCB etchant from radio shack...and be patient,take some time
