Is the mini ritter grip that good ?

Same internals, the difference is the Ritter has an S30V blade with a high flat grind over the 154cm blade on the regular mini, and yes, I would spend the extra money for the better blade.

ABSOLUTELY! I've been carrying my mini RSK for a while now and I'm soo happy with it I'm gonna buy a full size RSK. My Mini-Ritter bumped a 930, 940, Salt1, Para, and a few others off my EDC rotation. I occasionally still carry the 940. Only knife that I'm considering getting and that might knock off my Ritter is a Sebenza.

Anyone mind posting some pictures of the Mini Ritter vs. the mini grip or other comparable sized knife ?

To render a disenting opinion, I would mention a couple of things: if you do it right, you could buy two 556 vs one Ritter and I recall Joe Talmadge, who knows more about knives than most of us, say, buy the 556 and save your money, or something to that effect. Also, do you stab a lot of things like bubble packs, and so forth, or do you just mainly slice? The 556 is more stabby and a pretty darn good slicer, but the Ritter is a bit better at slicing. I used my 556 to carve a pumpkin and did a lot of stabbing out the eyes and so forth that would have been hard to do with the ritter.

556's 154 CM is a supersteel and many prefer it to S30V. However, if you need a high grind on a knife, and want S30V, then you really should get the Ritter. It probably would be better at slicing and skinning tasks. That said, in real world day to day cary, I can't see paying double for a possibly better high grind and a slightly better steel.

Personally, I would get two Minigrips in 556's with different colors or a 555HG or one Mini and One full sized.

Good luck.

Any idea what the M2 Ritters are going for now?

Any idea if the hoped for M4 version will be made?

Thanks, Joe
