Is the Mnandi a onehand opener?

The first Mnandi I handled happened to be a lefty, and it as almost as easy to work with my right hand as with my left.

Not only is it a one-hander but it is a very smooth one-hander. Get one if you can. You'll love it. If you find you don't love it then give it to me and I assure you that I'll love it. :D :D

I believe that ALIass was asking because he cannot carry a onehand opener.

"The danish parliament has just passed a law that effectively makes carrying anything than a sub 2,75" slip joint a felony!
No one hand opening, no lock! Get caught once and pay a $ 500,- fine! Get caught twice and go to jail for up to two years!"

In such a case maybe it'd be possible to talk to Anne and order Mnandi without opening cut-outs. That could help I think... and that would be a nice option for Mnandi BTW.

To the uninitiated it doesn't look like a one hand opener. It looks much like a traditional slip joint.

That´s the spirit, jsun!! :D
Danish laws does make it kind of hard to carry a large Seb (like I plan to do when the darn thing arrives...)

Agree - it looks like a slipjoint thumbnail cutout on steroids, but easily functions as a one hand opener. I won't own a folder that cannot be opened with one hand.

Remember it still has a locking blade...

As far as I know, that law (about locking folders..) was never passed. However, the fine is 1000$, not 500$ for the onehand
openers  :grumpy:
Brakeing the law and getting caught is two different things...:) I´m not an Idiot that brings a knife to a bar, I´m a father with a tool in my pocket!! :)
