is the ontario tak 1 d2 discontinued?

Are both the plain and serrated d2 models discontinued? Or can i still find them new or do i have to get them on the used market?

Ontario stopped making the TAK 1 in D2 a while back . You can still find them on the secondary market though . Ontario still makes the |TAK 1 in 1095 . Just my opinion but I had a TAK 1 in D2 and sold it and bought one in 1095 . Less brittle and easier to sharpen .

Do you think a partially serated one would work for quarreling a deer. I don't imagine I would cut deep enough to get to the serrations
