Hi, I currently edc a spyderco stretch and I absolutely love it. It is the perfect size, the ergos are wonderful and the blade to handle ratio is excellent. While I love the stretch so much I can't help but wonder about the paramilitary 2 because it has such a great reputation and I dont want to be missing out. I am left handed if it matters, but I am just wondering if buying a para 2 would be worth it when I already have a stretch and like it so much. To those people with both, which one do you like more, and why? thanks alot!

also, bladesteel differences is unimportant to me because I enjoy sharpening my knives quite a bit. and another thing, left handed operation is very important to me because im a southpaw :)

(off topic I dislike how some companies neglect us lefties on pocket clip and thumbstud placement:rolleyes: )

I can't remark as I'm not a lefty but owning both I prefer the Para2. The Stretch is my next favourite, a fantastic knife but from my experience the Para2 definitely lives up to the hype.

My only response to this is that we can't keep them in stock long enough for me to actually test one out!

These two, the Stretch and Paramilitary 2, are two of my favorites. The P2 is easier to close one handed, easier to clean with its open construction, and the pointier tip gets into tight places better than the Stretch. The Stretch is truly ambidextrous, lighter weight, and a bit smaller in pocket.

I mostly carry my P2 because my work often benefits from the pointy tip.

I really like my stretch. I carry my pm2 more often. The pm2 is the perfect fit for my hand and it seems to be more sturdy. You ll love it.
