I also have two of the black aluminum pens, one’s in my go-bag in the trunk.. The other I use in my BDU’s at work.. I generally use my damasteel version when I’m wearing a suit or off-duty.

I love my Benchmade pen but mine had the the rattling cap problem and it was driving me me nuts. To the point that I almost sold it...

Even after a trip to Benchmade, they weren't been able to fix the problem since it came back as loose as a goose.

I was able to fix the issue by adding a strip of super thin clear 3M film along the lower edge of the neck, where the cap sits. Now it's super solid, doesn't rattle and you can't even tell there's film. Stoked.
