Planning to pick up a CS kitchen knife along with the Roach. Is the latter in particular decent for food prep? Like peeling and chopping vegetables, that sort of thing. If not the Roach, what would you recommend? Opinions would be highly appreciated, gents.

I have two of them for food prep. They work well enough but don’t hold an edge for extended use (probably because when my old lady uses them, she cuts hard into cutting boards and ceramic plates). Easy to sharpen. I even run them through the dishwasher.

For the price, they’re definitely good to go for kitchen use and I like the sheaths.

The paring knife is good to go as well. I’m also tempted to get the kitchen utility knife and the chef knife. Great bargains.

I just used the RB to cut vegetables tonight. Just place the point on the board and roll the knife across the vegetables. Fast and easy. I was none-to-sure about the continuous belly, but I'm rapidly becoming a fan for food prep.
