i am about to purchase a sebenza, find out that graphic handle one costs more money than the regular, some of them make more than 100 higher. is the sculpture worth that much? in other words, is the pattern on the handle only factor that determine the difference of the prices?
if you guys have any thoughts, please let me know. thanks

I have seen the Lisa Picks go for about that much more and some of the Unique Graphics are up there. They go for more because they only make a few of them and in some cases only one. The CCG's are in between the plains and Unique Graphics.
Are they worth it? That's up to you to decide if you want a one of a kind Sebenza. Personally, since I collect knives, I think they're worth it. But then again, they sit in a safe and are only admired.
The way the CRK's are built are all the same, doesn't matter which CRK you choose, the same quality is in all their knives.

thanks for your explanation. the reason i came up with that question is that i dont appriciate the regular sebenza's blue lug which could be fade later and that the silver lug is excluded. since you said about the same quality, i will take a plain sebenza, living with the blue lug. thanks again.

They are exactly the same quality, they are the same knives just with decoration. You can get thumbstuds and spacers in blue (standard), gold and silver. I prefer silver myself. :)

You can order direct from CRK and get it with silver lugs, send it in and get silver lugs added or look at TNK's(True North Knives)-they offer knives with silver lugs, or look for one with silver lugs on the secondary market(sales forums)

They are great. Don't buy no ugly knife :). The blade is polished as well. Well worth the money to me.

TNK has several CRK's with silver lugs if you don't want blue :)

Another idea is to use a metal polish to take the blue off. I have used Flitz to take blue anodization off knives before, it works quickly and leaves a nice shiny silver finish behind.

i bet that is good way to silver it ,but i worry that i cant make sure to keep the blade intact when i polish the lug. so i prefer an originally silver lug seb.

I send my single blue lugged model in and had them replace it with dual silver lugs and silver lanyard tube. Suits my tastes better. Love the knife, just not the blue. :)

Dremeled the blue lugs of my 25 silver. Worked well. Edged specialties has a nice selection of silver lugged Sebs.
