Is the Shadow by Ray Cover an Orig Design?

I really like the Ray Cover Shadow but certainly can't afford one. I was wondering is this was his version of a production knife? I could probably afford the production model if one exited.

I'm pretty sure it's all his own design (no production equivalent). I'm a fan & collector of Ray Cover knives too, and his handles all have a very similar shape & look to them. I've come to recognize most of them just by shape & style of his handles.

Ray's knives are, to my knowledge, his own patterns but of course derived from other classic slipjoints.

His work is very reasonably priced for a custom maker and you'd be hard put to find a finer gentleman.

I hope you'll find an opportunity to own one.

That shadow pattern is beautiful. It figures that my finances are way too tight right now for me to have one . Guess I'll just keep dreamin'...
