Is the Spyderco domino too big for people with small hands?

I wear adult small gloves, sometimes mediums. I really want the Spyderco red weave domino, do you think it's too big for people with smaller hands? Thanks.

I wear large adult gloves, but they're a bit loose. My palm is 3.75" across from the base of my little finger to the base of my thumb (measuring at an angle). It's 3.5" straight across at the base of my fingers. My 2nd finger is 3.25" base-to-tip.

The Domino was a good fit for my hand. It was easy to operate because of the bearings and the flipper tab. I had just a bit of the handle sticking out at the bottom of my palm. It stuck out enough for me to feel like I had a secure grip but not so much that it felt "too big".

Your best bet would be to try to hold it in person before you purchase it. I have probably the definition of medium hands and I feel like a Domino would certainly work just as well if my hands were smaller. I guess my fingers may be just slightly longer than average, but I would say my fingers are slimmer than average. Worst case scenario try to find a used one that you wouldn't loose money on if you decided to sell it. Or you can order from a retailer with a good return policy. I'm personally not a fan of ordering a knife with the "I can just return this if I don't like it" mindset, but if you're a loyal customer and end up making many purchases from said retailer, I don't think it would be the end of the world if you shipped one knife back that didn't work for you. I'll pretty much always make the 40 minute one way trip to a knife store to try out some models before I buy one if I'm unsure about them. But if you don't typically buy from that physical store, this can also dip in to the whole ethical dilemma of trying a product at a brick and motor store and then buying said product online.

IMG_1694.JPG My Domino is my favorite Spydie....and I have quite a few!
I don't think you'll have any problems with fit at all.
Extremely well made knife with a bunch of opening options that make it a fantastic fondler!
XHP is a great steel and is not hard to sharpen. Excellent blade profile makes it a nasty slicer!
I could go on and on, rest assured you're gonna really like it!
I have 2 other Spydies that are right up there with the Domino......Southard and the Advocate. Take a look at those 2 also.
Good luck!
Joe
