Before purchasing a Spyderco Tenacious I would like to find out if it is legal to conceal carry and is legal in all 50 states. If not, are there any Spydercos that are?

Here's a fairly comprehensive listing of laws by state. http://www.handgunlaw.us/documents/USKnife.pdf
I'm thinking the Tenacious liner lock and blade length would be an issue in some areas. Also a visible knife clip outside of the pocket would draw attention.
Maybe a Slipit such as the Pingo. Dunno, the laws and interpretations seem to be getting fuzzier. I just mind my manners and have never had an issue with anything I carry.

Unless you plan on taking a trip into every state, I wouldn't worry about a knife legal everywhere in the us. I would focus on your area, and then if you are planning a trip look into the local laws at that time. They are every changing anyways so you always want to check before leaving your region.

Thanks for the advice. How about for north Carolina and Pennsylvania? That's where I will be.

I live in Texas, so I can't help you there. Did you search through the knife law section? Also, sometimes the knife laws are listed very plainly. For example, when I went to Vegas last month a google search pulled up dozens of references to the laws there. Just search through them to make sure everyone matches, and mind your sources. Always error on the side of caution, better to carry smaller than the limit rather than trying to push the envelope.

There is no such thing as a knife that legal for concealed carry in all 50 states. Some states have super vague weapon laws that could apply to anything depending on the context of the arrest, and you also have county and city law.

Thanks for the advice. How about for north Carolina and Pennsylvania? That's where I will be.

Pennsylvania allows any normal folder or fixed blade, regardless of size, though Philly has a total ban on knife carry.

North Carolina allows concealed carry of normal folders of any size so long as it's not a switchblade or balisong.

what about calling the DA office that are in the states that you are passing through and ask them what there law says about knifes??
