im thinkin of gettin one.
the one with the blade and can opener. not the second model with 2 blades.

theres an ok amount on ebay, but i need to know wether or not i should be in a hurry to get one.

Yes the Bantam is still in production. It is the ONLY Vic with the single can/bottle/screwdriver/wirestripper STILL in production. The others being the Yeoman and the Scientist, which are VERY hard to find these days!

From your description of the 2 blade version -
I think you're asking about the Bantam alox

There is the newer two bladed model but it is called the Bantam Alox II

there is also the Red plastic handled model - Bantam

Although the picture shown on the red handled Bantam seems to be that of the Recruit.

Smokey Mountain Knife Works shows the correct picture for the red handled Bantam see this LINK

These are all links to the official Victorinox (US)/Swiss Army Brands web site - so it looks as though they are all still available.

EDIT - to correct links

Ahhh, the Bantam Alox. Probably my favorite EDC. Looks good, slim, fits into dress pants easily, sharp sheeple friendly and most important, bottle opener!

thanks for all your help guys.

yes, the bantam alox is what i was thinkin of gettin.

ive been carrying, along with my usual edc's, a camillus 'what-a-knife' with a blade and a bottle opener. its handy as hell and i was just lookin for a "better looking" SAK version.

I have Alox and Cellidor Bantams.
I prefer the red cellidor version as you get toothpick and tweezers, and I find the Alox model a little too thin.
