Is the warranty on Spec-plus knives for life?

I don't even know if there is a warranty on their knives, but if there is a life-time guarantee, has anyone ever delt with their customer service? Is it fast, or is it Cold Steel?
Speaking of cold steel, why do they have "life-time warranty" printed on the back of the boxs for their folders and fixed blades? Under the title in smaller print is the 1 year warranty for folders and 5 years for fixed blades. What the H@ll has a life-time warranty?
