Ive never held one, and they do look beefy. I wear jeans alot and would like to get one for edc. Hows the weight on them?

I carry one every day and don't have a problem... it's not a light knife though.

its not much heavier than an SNG (4.4oz). IIRC it weighs just a tick over 5oz. I've got a flipper model and carry it rather often in jeans and dress atire and have never had an issue with the weight. Its shape makes it rather stable in the pocket and for me it easily disappears.

get one you won't be disappointed.

It is a bit on the heavy side but since my pants pocket carries the weight I don't notice it much. It does take up a good amount of room in ones pocket though, especially if you have keys, a small flashlight, and other stuff in the same pocket ;)

If you think the weight or size will bother you, get the 3 inch model. It works great for me and honestly can do just about any EDC task I need.

I have to wear suits to work ... and my work-place is not knife-friendly.

Otherwise, I usually wear jeans. And the full-size XM18. Without a single problem.:D

The weight has never bothered me. The ZT 300 series knives are noticeably heavier.

I first got the 3.5 inch version and it was a bit bulky and heavy for my pockets, i still love it but it is not my EDC, i then purchased a 3 inch (hand ground) orange flipper and it has not left my pocket for months!!!!(other then when i am cutting something)
