I haven't been following the ZT line much at all. Out of the two, which one is better? I am refering to the pivot bearing system.

black vs brown! It's like dress shoes black or brown? Go with usual black or slightly different brown?

561, only because it looks better. And of course that is only my opinion and I own neither...yet.

550 gets more carry time for me - but they are both tops in my book. If the 550 had KVT then it would win hands down, but mine is so smooth people ask me if it has KVT.

I've had both and call me crazy but the higher the serial numbers get on these knives the better the quality gets my 0561 is better than any of the 560s that passed through my hands

I disagree with your theory/reasoning.....I have 1 of the first 561s...# 0018. The quality is great. No problems with it at all.

If you ask me, the black is more tactical and more deadly... Also, I heard on the internet that black knives are sharper...

0561 is much better than the 0560. It has better steel, better handle material, better design, and the KVT system on the 0561 makes the 0560 look like a clunker.

0561 all the way.

I wish there'd be a way to get milled carbon fiber scales sold separately - without having to buy a 0560CBCF (to be honest, it's cool, but I don't like the braze pattern on the blade between the composite steels).

I own a 0560. Would be great if I got a 0561, but bought mine used and saved quite a bit on it.

This one whenever it get here.....:D
