Is the ZT302 ever coming back?

Does anyone know if the 302 will be available again? I really like the coyote brown, and I would take the ranger green one in a heartbeat. I just don't want to spend 260 sheckles on a black one and then "ding"- the other colors are available. Even rumors would be appreciated, thx!!

Thank you Thomas, I was hoping you'd respond. I will settle happily with black if thats my only option. Better Black than none. Great knife, been oogling it for months. I just got aquainted with ZT a little late in the game.

The 0301, Ranger Green, is still made. It just seems to be in short supply.

The 0350 line would be real easy to add 0351, 0352 and so on. No striped blades needed just different scale colors would be just fine.

I don't think they have many more of them, if they have them at all. And that's just kinda abusing the warranty if you don't have a problem with your knife.

It doesn't hurt to ask. You can always contact the manufacture to order parts for your knife. I've order a few different color scales for other knives before. Also, it's not abusing the warranty if you're paying for these parts. Plus the manufacture sometimes gives them for free.

I was always under the impression that the 302 was always a well liked and somewhat popular model guess not , I suppose there is a knife market and world outside of bladeforums.

You know what would be a nice solution to the dilemma.If it were possible for Kershaw to somehow offered several different styles or colours of handle materials in G-10,micarta,and possibly carbon fiber as an option through their website or a dealer.That way owners would be able to change it up how ever their tastes dictate.

Was it discontinued before it was shown on NCIS or afterwards? I don't recall how far back it showed up. I started watching a few seasons back and saw it every so often.

Either way, it's possible to get a 0301 and find someone to duracoat the scale in FDE or Coyote, if you really want the 0302 look.

i found it strange that zt wouldnt sell me a replacement scale. i actually disliked the coyote brown at first before it eventually grew on me and when it got discontinued i decided to keep it for sure. glad i kept it, but at the time i was pretty irritated. they claimed only if the scale cracked under use then i could send it in for warranty replacement and they *might* be able to hook me up with a different color then.

i think zt would have maximized their profits if they sold only a zt300 with black scales and had different color scales as options. i never really thought offering the zt300,301,302,303 was the smartest idea.. and yes i know there are custom makers who can make any scale available, but they cost at least $30 and most that i priced were around 60-80 for quality ones. should mention that not all customers are lucky enough to have the resources of the forums to find makers to customize their knives, factory oem is usually the first and only option.
