Idk why but ive always wanted an italian made knife in my collection. what knife brands are italian?

Some that pop in to my my head:

- Extrema Ratio
- Fantoni
- Fox Cutlery
- Viper
- Lion Steel

+1 on Fox Cutlery. One of my friends has one of their lock backs. It has a 440C blade that holds a wicked sharp edge.

iirc Spyderco also has some knives made in Italy...
The Hossom, Volpe, and maybe some more like the Lionspy?

I purchased a Viper Bergamasco a month or so ago. It was expensive but it's a decent knife. Viper has some other models that I wouldn't mind getting too.

Don't know who makes stilettos, but this type of switchblade design became popular in the 50's and several models were consequently imported from Italy to the U.S.

You can check A G Russell's web site and see some of the Italian made knives that he offers. That'll give you an idea of what they look like and what materials are used.

Does anyone know anything about the quality of the Maserin knives? How do they rate?

arty, maserin seems to be a decent quality mfg. from the reviews i've seen at a UK dealers site.
