is there a 501 size with clip point blade

i really like the 501 but not a fan of the blade shape. really prefer the clip point. i looked at the 55 but it is more the size of a 503.

is there a 501 size that has a clip point blade?

I have been wishing, and asking for this for a long time. Was hoping maybe SK could convince Buck to do a run if there was enough interest. He said he’d look into it after the forum knife madness had come, gone, and died down some. Just to see if there was any real interest. I’d be in for a couple.

My grinding technique will work on any blade, traditional or non-traditional, Buck or non-Buck.

Ya it wouldn't be difficult at all to grind the same clip style on to it as is on the 110. But personally I love the drop point and wish all my 110s were. But to each his own.

Not a lot of real estate to work with on a 501 down at the tip. No belly. I'm sure it could be done, but might get a little thin.

I hope this thread doesn’t die. I would really like to see the 500 series knives come with clip points. They have put drop points on the 110 and 112, so I figure why not. But at least a 501 clip. CPM154 or S30V would be heaven. But I’m getting ahead of myself.

I have just always used and enjoyed clip point folding knives. It suits my needs well. But there is definitely a visual aspect there that I enjoy as well

drop point will do most eveything i need it to. clip point does a better job cleaning the finger nails and i like the looks better.

C&C just came out with a 55 with a drop point, i really like the curve bolsters but i wouldnt dont want anything smaller than a 501, which is my fav as well.
