Is there a drop point Framelock with the Wave feature?

My apologies, but I am a noob on this forum and the search engine doesn't come up with anything when I search for framelock and wave.

I know of the Emerson CQC7-HD7 - it is a framelock with the wave, but it has a tanto blade.

I would like to purchase either something with a framelock or axis lock that also has a <4" spear or drop point blade and the wave feature. Is there a knife that meets this criteria, and if so, who makes it?

Thanks!

***edit: Looks like it just didn't like quotation marks. The search is bringing some options up now. ***

Sorry, but I think the HD7 is about the closest you can get. The Wave is patented by Mr Emerson, and there are only two companies using it, Emerson Knives (duh!), and Spyderco, who Ernie licensed it to. I trust you've checked the whole Emerson line so I'll skip those, but Spyderco is using it on a few knives, the closest of which would be the Waved Endura, but that's a lockback.

That said, you could find a spear/drop point framelock and send it to STR (who has his own subforum here), whom Ernie has licensed to put waves on knives. Best check with STR to see if he can wave it in the first place though.

Hope this helps.

the closest emerson to what ya want is a CQC12 which has a bowie style blade (IIRC its designed after a AK47 bayonet blade) and is almost a std "V" grind (but not quite)

FWIW imho the '12 is the very best production EKI, i like mine lots better than my HD7, really no comparison imho.

the '12 is ~4", waved and is a frame lock.

i have both and dont see why anyone would prefer the HD7 to the '12, unless they just had to have a tanto, i suppose its a little cheaper......
