i just got a Blur tanto in a trade and that rattle is driving me nuts! i've been trying to take it apart, but i have to grab my torx bits from work tomorrow.

has anybody found a solution? i was thinking maybe add some grease or maybe wrap the torsion bar in something.

or should i just call Kershaw?

All you need is some grease on the torsion bar. It will stop the rattle.

Yeah, put a dab of grease between the little end of the torsion bar and some in the hole in the blade.

Lithium grease works well, but I usually use some "slick honey". Its pretty good at staying where you put it.

Edit: google Buzz's slick honey.

I found that the search works better if you use "Buzzy's" instead of "Buzz's" slick honey. ;)

white lithium grease all over the torsion bar works like a charm! but it feels a bit slower now, i guess the grease put some dampening on the thing. (no, its not overtightening)

on a side note, brake cleaner fades the black on the blade...

Try wiping the blade with CLP (Break-Free). That might bring the black back.
