Is there a Hinderer model that has the following? I can't seem to find one if so.

XM-18 3.5"
No choil
M390 or CMP 20cv
Slicer or Spearpoint

ETA: flipper model also

I have been begging DLT to bring these back. I'd probably buy 3 of 'em.
 
Hinderers I need in my life:

3.5 Gen6 Skinny Slicer M390
3.5 Gen6 No Choil Slicer M390
3.0 Skinny (almost released! Will be mine!)
Full Track M390 (again)

You should check out the Zero Tolerance 0562CF and 0562Ti, both are Hinderer designs with a CPM 20CV slicer blade and no choil. They're not made by Hinderer, and their handles are slightly different from the XM-18, but they're still great knives.

Good advice. While they won’t completely scratch the XM-18 itch, they’re great knives.
 
Does anyone know if the pivot area of the titanium lock side on gen 6 xm-18 is hardened?

They are not available. Show me where a 3.5 Gen6 Skinny Slicer is available.

I'd buy a 20CV in a heartbeat if you showed me where one is available.
 
Keep an eye on the secondary market, they show up fairly frequently, but they do sell quickly. I was lucky enough to be able to snatch one up this week.

I do not know this for sure, and would be happy to learn that I am wrong, but I do not think that Ti can be hardened (not like steel). So generally speaking, the answer is no.
 
DLT has no choil exclusivity. We're begging for a No Choil 3.5" Skinny Slicer (and no choil Skinny Sheepsfoot if I'm getting greedy) :)

I'm been lobbying my best to DLT, please do the same!

What's the point of an over built hinderer to back up a skinny blade.....just go with a delica then slice and save $
 
The 3.5 inch skinny blades are still .14" thick, that's still more than thich enough for a "hard use" folder.
