Recommendation? Is there a leather sheath for the Buck 110 that has a secure cover and rides lower on the belt?

I saw the "Made in the USA" sheath that Buck sells and noticed that the belt loop appears to be attached higher on the sheath, allowing for a lower carry.

Other than that, are there other places that sell a good leather 110 sheath that rides lower on the belt, has a cover to keep the knife in and preferably costs less than another 110? The older sheaths were perfect with the belt loop that looped upward, further lowering it.

EDIT: An alternate option I'm thinking is just modding the sheath like a vertical version of this guy's.

EDIT2: I might've not been clear, but the clip is to keep the knife in the sheath, not to attach the sheath to the belt.

EDIT3: I just realized that I've probably been mistakenly using the word "clip" to describe "that snap button on the cover that folds over the knife".

One of our members here can make that for you, Makael. Buck makes a cross-draw sheath for the Alpha Hunter model 377. Which I think a 110
would fit. Call them and check on it. Welcome Maki. DM

I don't trust belt clips. Thanks to a clip, I lost a knife while hunting back when I was in high school.
You could have an upholstery or shoe/boot repair shop put a longer belt loop on your existing sheath.
A belt loop is not going to come off when moving through brush, like a clip can.

I'm not sure what a clip to keep the knife in is but a have quite a few friction fit sheaths with open tops. They never think of letting the knife fall out and also display the knife well. I've gotten them from 2 different makers but only one deals by mail. Both makers get 20.00 for nicely tooled sheaths, which I think is reasonable.

Ah. I just now realized that I should've not used the word "clip" to describe the snap button. By "clip", I actually meant some method of retention keeping the knife in the sheath like the cover on the regular sheath the knife comes in.

My knives stay in by friction fit. Years in this type sheath and the knives still stay in with no chance of slipping out. If you have a nicer knife, ns, engraved or in my case, engraved ns, it's the best way to carry and display.

I have a couple to do but would be happy to give it a shot.
