Is there a limit on private message recipients and length?

I have been having some trouble sending PMs this afternoon. The message is intended for multiple paid forum members and the message is a little long but I can't seem to find any suggestion there is a limit on the number of characters or the number of recipients.

Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.
 
I've sent a couple 1500+ word PM's without trouble. Have you tried sending the message to a single recipient? There might be a limit when there are multiple recipients, couldn't really say though.
 
I thought maybe someone in the list had disabled PMs and that caused the problem so then I tried a single recipient that was enabled but that didn't work either. I then shortened the message and it still didn't work so I may have broken my private messages. :rolleyes:
 
Platinum member gets 300 PM storage. If you reached your limit, it should tell you that when you try to send more.
 
Seems to be something that happens occasionally, this morning I tried to send a reply but it quit Bladeforums altogether and didn't send, tried again with fewer words, no luck, tried to create a new one, no luck. other days, no problems at all, very strange!

Well today, I was able to put the same message in and send the PM off without a hitch, just plain weird...
