Is there a MINI Strider? Not Buck

I've always wanted a Strider but they are too big for what is legal in my area. I was looking through the latest Blade magazine and came across the Strider add I've seen probably 100 times and noticed what looks like a smaller knife on top of a regular size Strider.

Does this "smaller" knife exist or was it just a "chop" for the picture?

Great looking knives, John T.! The Strider looks good, Trace's knife looks great, but that Erickson is a thing of freaking beauty!:eek::thumbup: What's the blade steel on that bad boy if you don't mind me drooling......I mean asking?

Thanks for the pics John - Great looking knives you have there.

It's looking like the Strider is fitting the bill for me. What's the blade length. I've done a bit of looking around and found differences in the blade length description of the PT to be listed as between 3" and 3.25". It looks like the difference may be the actuall cutting edge lenght and the what would be an AKTI measurement.

Is that the case?
 
he got it right...

here in Vegas Concealed carry = less than 3 inch blade.

The Erickson is ATS-34 , the Strider and Rinaldi are both S30v.

The stonewash finish on the PT CC wears extremely well. Has the same finish on the TI lock side. Ride down right nice in a mission wallet ( no pocket clip on the CC PT ).
