Ive been bit buy the becker bug bad, and want a bk14 to be my gateway drug lol

I read there was a d2 becker coming out.....anymore info on this and release date?

Yes, there is. No release date as of yet.

Also, if you break up our band, I will be very disappointed.

I'll patiently await it. My original 14 gets loaned out quite a bit, and I miss it. Plus, this will make a great testbed for me to try out D2 and see what I think of it.

All the same, I expect we here will be among the first to know when the release date is announced; so everyone, please be patient. Manufacturing methods simply don't move as quickly as we here on the internet have come to hope for. (good knives take time)
 
I can understand the OP's eagerness. He's from Toledo. The arrival of the BK-14 in D2 will probably be the most exciting thing to happen in that city in the past decade.

(Before everyone gets all up in arms I have to say, in the interest of full disclosure, that I grew up in Toledo :D)
 
Don't wait for it. Get into the hobby now. There's nowhere like here, and here just isn't the same without a Becker in hand. You can always pick up the D2 one when it comes out, but methinks you should get a regular one to tide you over 'til then. Welcome to the insanity.
 
Is it going to be coated like the current BK14 or come in that oh-so-pretty stone-washed finish?

Guess I'll be getting a third one...

folx. for the price? don't wait, just buy a BK14. now.

want D2? wait a bit. you might decide you don't need one then, but i hope you buy 5 ;)
